IndiaKhelo in association with Alpine Eco Society brings to you Alpine Eco Volleyball League 2010, a battle amongst 9 teams to win the championship.

History:

This league had started a year ago in 2009 when the Alpine Eco society people took the initiative to promote competitive sporting spirit not only within the societies but also in the nearby societies. Though on an informal platform they invited nearby societies to play friendly matches and that was the beginning of a legacy that Alpine Eco would be proud of. However, within a year this has grown into a league with numerous teams willing to be a part of this league. Nevertheless each team has a solid fan base whose enthusiasm on the courts as the cheering squad is overwhelming.

Present:

The league will be a two day tussle amongst 9 teams with over 19 matches being played to decide one winner. The matches will test not only the passion and high energy levels of the participating teams but also their strength, stamina and their adaptability to different conditions. The matches will be under the scorching sun and also under the flood-lights making the ordeal both physically and mentally challenging.
